Free offers | Consultation with a midwife as part of the "Mutter-Kind-Pass"

As part of the “Mutter-Kind-Pass” you have, between the 18th and the 22nd week, the option of a free appointment with a Midwife (“Hebammenberatung”).

In this 1-hour-appointment you can ask the midwife questions regarding the pregnancy, birth and the weeks after the baby has been born. For example:

• How can I prepare myself for birth?
• Should I attend an antenatal class?
• Can I exercise during the pregnancy? And what should I eat or avoid to eat?
• What different possibilities for extra support are available and how do I get a midwife for postpartum home visits?
• What things should I buy in beforehand?
• I have heard, that ….
• Is it true, that ….
• I am concerned about …
• ...

This Midwife consultation is free!

If booked with a midwife without a contract with the insurance company, you have to pay 50€ which will be completely refunded. The Midwife consultation includes an anonymous evaluation sheet.

If you already looked for a midwife for the time after birth, this appointment can be used as a first contact, to get to know each other. In this case please contact the midwife directly.

Beyond that the Hebammenzentrum offers a broad range of free advisory services, no matter which week of the pregnancy you are in.

On Tuesday evenings we offer “Mutter-Kind-Pass-Beratungen” at the PVE Sonnwendviertel in CAPE 10, Alfred-Adler-Straße 1, 1100 Wien.

On Friday afternoons you can book appointments for “Mutter-Kind-Pass-Beratungen” at FEM Med, Reumannplatz 7, 1100 Wien.
