Free offers | Consultations with a Midwife

General information

The Hebammenzentrum is a sponsored family counselling centre and so we can offer free appointments with a midwife. Everyone, planning on having children, in expectation of a baby or parents in the first year can get easy and unbureaucratic counselling. In these 50-min. appointments we can discuss your relevant questions and worries, as well as connect you with further possibilities for care and support if needed.

We offer appointments for following topics:

• Help with the decision regarding prenatal testing or with potential outcomes
• Everything regarding pregnancy, birth, time after birth, nutrition, breast feeding, baby sleep, care of a newborn, start of solid food for the baby, weaning, etc.
• Support with ambivalent feelings towards a future or existing pregnancy
• General overview about different options for the place of birth: home birth, birth centre, birth in the hospital, private midwife in the hospital, “ambulant birth”, midwife care after birth
• …

• Appointments via telephone or online are possible as well as locally in the 9th or the 10th district!
• Appointments also available in English and French on demand!

On Tuesday afternoons we do offer appointments at the location PVE Sonnwendviertel – CAPE 10 (Alfred-Adler-Straße 1, 1100 Wien). To fix an appointment there, please contact the main desk at the Hebammenzentrum.

BRAND-NEW: Sind February 2024 we do offer appointments at FEM Med (Reumannplatz 7, 1100 Wien) on Tuesday in the late morning. For booking or further information please contact FEM Med: 01/ 809 22 22.
